Our history

Our history

1976

Roger Aldridge buys out the directors of Allen Office Contracts and forms AOC Interiors Ltd, based in Barking, carrying out fit-out work worth £200K per annum

1978

AOC relocates in Barking and creates a joinery manufacturing facility as part of the business

1981

Further relocation allows the expansion of the joinery manufacturing facility and fitout as the business reaches a £1m turnover

1990

Mark Huttlestone joins AOC as a Project Manager

1998

AOC successfully completes their first £1M contract

2002

With the company now at a turnover of £5M, Mark Huttlestone leads and takes over as Managing Director

2005

AOC Interiors Ltd relocates to Rainham to accommodate business expansion with a turnover of £6M

2013

AOC emerge from the deepest recession in its history a stronger and more efficient Company

2015

With annual turnover now in excess of £12m a major restructuring sees Danny Joy, David Cummins and Jamie Goodwin join Alison Banks our Finance Director and Mark on the Board of Directors

2016

AOC relocates to London premises and celebrates 40 years in business
